There were no winners for the Mega Millions lottery drawing on Friday night that had a jackpot of $29 million. However, the night’s results did produce some smaller winners. The winning numbers that were drawn on March 18th were 2, 6, 25, 40, 45 and the gold Mega Ball was 5. There was also a 4X Megaplier. The jackpot that remained unclaimed was worth $29 million and came with a cash option of $8.8 million. 

The next drawing for the Mega Millions jackpot will be conducted on Tuesday, March 22nd. The value of the jackpot has now grown to $39 million and it will come with a cash option of $25.3 million. The Friday night draw did not have a grand prize winner and no instant millionaires were made either. Those who would have managed to hit the Match 5 would have walked away with $1 million. A player could have won $4 million if they had managed to match the five numbers in the draw, along with a Megaplier purchase.

Eight players were able to hit the Match 5 and the Mega Ball, which allowed them to walk away with a prize of $10,000 each. But, there was only a single player who managed to hit the Match 4, the gold Mega Ball and the 4X Megaplier, which meant that they walked away with $40,000. There were other winners from the draw who won a prize between $2 and $2,000. The latest Mega Millions drawing comes after a player from New York managed to match all six balls to win $128 million.
