The Powerball lottery draw was conducted on June 15th, 2022, Wednesday, which had a jackpot worth $258 million and a cash option of $147.4 million. The winning numbers for the draw were 19, 28, 41, 42 and 51, while 7 was the Powerball number. 2X was the Power Play multiplier. Two of the winning tickets in the draw had been purchased in South Carolina.
According to the South Carolina Education Lottery, one of the winning tickets was sold in North Augusta, while the second was sold in Roebuck. The latter was purchased on Highway 221 at the Food Lion #2461.
The lottery disclosed that this particular ticket holder had managed to match the four white-ball numbers in the draw on Wednesday night and the red number as well. They chose to spend an extra $1 for the Power Play and were able to win a prize of $100,000.
As for the ticket in North Augusta, it was bought on West Martintown Road at Circle K Store. According to the lottery, a $50,000 prize was claimed by this player in the Double Play drawing, which is conducted after the main Powerball draw. There are 180 days for both winners to claim their prizes.
