The EuroMillions lottery draw conducted on Friday, July 1st, did not have a winner, which means that the jackpot has now rolled over. The jackpot for the draw to be conducted on Tuesday is now a whopping £186 million.
Biggest EuroMillions prize
Two months ago, the biggest prize in the EuroMillions draw worth £184 million had been paid out to a couple from Gloucestershire, Jess and Joe Thwaite. They had taken home the prize in the EuroMillions draw conducted on May 10th.
However, it appears that the couple might now be deposed as the biggest winners in the EuroMillions lottery because the jackpot for Tuesday’s draw has reached £186 million.
Andy Carter, the adviser for senior winners of the National Lottery, said that a lucky winner could use the prize for helping a lot of causes that are close to them. He encouraged people to buy their tickets early to get a chance to win the impressive prize.
If a single player manages to claim the jackpot, they will be able to purchase two superyachts, four private jets, or even 512 Rolls Royce.
Other prizes
While the Friday night’s EuroMillions draw did not see anyone win the jackpot, there were plenty of other prizes that were paid out. There were four people who managed to claim a prize of £219,000 and prizes worth £11,000 were secured by another eight players. The main numbers for the EuroMillions draw on Friday were 06, 18, 24, 34 and 46, while 03 and 12 were the Lucky Star numbers.
Recent months have seen a series of wins in the EuroMillions lottery with a prize paid out in February worth £109 million and then the £184 million jackpot win in May by the Thwaites. The previous record of the highest EuroMillions win was held by an anonymous player who had won a prize of £170 million back in October, 2019.
