The Powerball lottery draw was conducted on Wednesday, July 13th and the jackpot was worth $66 million. The winning numbers for the white balls in the draw were 22, 23, 36, 47 and 63. As for the red Powerball, the drawn number was 02 and 2x was the Power Play. The cash option for the jackpot was around $37.5 million.

Not Claimed Yet

No winner has come forward as yet for Wednesday night’s draw and it should be noted that the jackpot was not won in the previous draw either. However, a lucky player did manage to win a prize of $50,000 in the same draw.

The ticket was bought in Moorhead, Minnesota at Hornbacher on 11th Street. The winning ticket was able to match four of the five numbers in Wednesday night’s draw, which means it was just a single digit away from hitting the jackpot.

Limited Disclosure

The name and city of the lucky prize winner will not be disclosed, until they decide to opt in to publicity. According to the new rules introduced from September 1st, 2021, the cities and names of lottery prize winners above the $10,000 threshold will not be disclosed to the public without their permission.

The winner can claim their prize via mail, or visit the Minnesota Lottery office. The next Powerball Lottery draw is scheduled for Saturday, July 16th.
