The latest Powerball lottery draw was conducted on Wednesday, October 12th, 2022 and it had a massive jackpot of $425.3 million that also came with a cash value of $217.9 million.
No winners for the jackpot
The winning numbers that were drawn on Wednesday night in the Powerball lottery were 14, 30, 41, 42, and 59, with 6 being the Powerball number and 5X was the Power Play.
Unfortunately, the October 12th, 2022 draw of the Powerball lottery did not yield any winners for the massive jackpot, as no one was able to match the numbers.
This means that the jackpot will now roll over for the next draw, which is scheduled to take place on Saturday, October 15th, 2022.
The jackpot for Saturday night’s draw will be $454 million and will have a cash option of about $232.6 million.
Other prizes
There were no winners of the grand prize in Wednesday night’s Powerball lottery draw and unfortunately, there were no instant millionaires on the night either.
None of the players were able to hit the Match 5 on Wednesday night, which would have helped them win a prize of $1 million.
Had they managed to hit the Match 5 and also opted for the Power Play, they would have seen their winnings increase to a whopping $5 million.
But, there were plenty of other players who won smaller prizes. There were a total of 14 players who were able to hit the Match 4 in the Powerball lottery draw on Wednesday night, along with the Powerball number.
This made them eligible for a prize of $50,000 each. There were also three lucky players who not only hit the Match 4 and the Powerball number, but also opted for the Power Play option.
This allowed them to increase their winnings from $50,000 to $250,000 each. The rest of the prizes won on Wednesday night were between $4 and $500.
There were a total of 649,369 tickets that had were able to win prizes in the Wednesday drawing of the Powerball lottery.

The latest Powerball jackpot comes after Monday night’s drawing saw a winning ticket of $1 million sold in Illinois. The ticket was sold in Calumet City at KNR Candy.
It should be noted that there has not been a winner of the Powerball lottery jackpot for quite some time now and the same is also happening in the Mega Millions lottery.
The odds of winning the grand prize in the Powerball lottery are 1 in 292.2 million. People can participate in the game every week on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday.
