A lottery player has come forward with a winning ticket to claim a prize of £112k in the EuroMillions lottery.
The authorities confirmed that the September 9th draw of the EuroMillions lottery saw a player match the five main numbers, along with the Lucky Star number.
The ticket was purchased in the Tonbridge and Malling area.
Prize claimed
The National Lottery operator, Camelot UK Lotteries Limited recently received a claim for the prize won by the ticket-holder, which is around £112,345.20.
Once the claim has been made, it has to go through the validation process, which usually involves checking that the terms and conditions and the rules of the game have been adhered to.
After the ticket was validated and the winning paid out to the ticket-holder, the lucky winner will have the freedom to decide if they want to go public, or would prefer to stay anonymous.
There will be no information disclosed about whether the winner is an individual, or a syndicate.
Likewise, the exact location of where the ticket was bought will also not be disclosed, unless the winner decides to go public with their win.
Like with all the draws of the National Lottery, winners have 180 days from the day the draw is conducted to come forward with their claim if they have the winning ticket.

Andy Carter, the Senior Winners’ advisor at the National Lottery, said that the news was undoubtedly great for the lucky ticket-holder who had come forward with the claim.
He further said that they would support the ticket-holder throughout the claims process. He went on to say that players can use the National Lottery app for buying and checking their tickets, or could go to the website for this purpose.
He also added that it was possible for those wanting to play to purchase their tickets and check them the same way.
The benefit of playing online, or through the app is that winners are sent an email notification if they win a prize because their ticket is checked automatically.
The National Lottery app also comes with the feature of scanning retail tickets to see if they are prize winners.
EuroMillions draw
Meanwhile, the next EuroMillions lottery draw is scheduled to take place on October 18th, Tuesday and it has a whopping jackpot of £77 million.
The draw is scheduled to take place at 8.45 pm and players have the option of purchasing the ticket until 7.30 pm in order to participate in the draw.
The EuroMillions lottery draw take place every Tuesday and Friday with the jackpot starting at £14 million, which has now rolled over to £77 million as there have not been any grand prize winners of late.
