The Mega Millions lottery draw took place on November 15th, Tuesday, and had a jackpot of $207 million that had a cash value of about $103.8 million.
No jackpot winners
The numbers that were drawn in Tuesday night’s Mega Millions lottery were 06, 19, 28, 46 and 61, with 18 being the gold Mega Ball and 2X was the Megaplier.
However, there were no winners for the jackpot on Tuesday night, which means that the prize will now be added to the jackpot in the next Mega Millions lottery draw.
The next drawing of the Mega Millions lottery is now scheduled to take place on Friday, November 18th, 2022 and the jackpot for this draw will be $238 million and it will have a cash option of about $119.1 million.
Other winners
While there were no winners for the grand prize in the Mega Millions lottery drawing on Tuesday night, there were two lucky players who succeeded in becoming instant millionaires.
One of these players was from California and the other one was from Idaho. Both of these players were able to hit the Match 5, which means that they were able to win a prize of $1 million each.
Had the two players opted to buy the Megaplier option with their ticket, they would have been able to double their prize to $2 million.
Meanwhile, there were also 12 players who were able to hit the Match 4 as well as the gold Mega Ball in Tuesday night’s drawing of the Mega Millions Lottery.
This meant that the players were able to win a prize of $10,000 each. But, there was only one player who hit the Match 4, the Mega Ball and also opted for the Megaplier, which means their prize was $20,000 each.
The rest of the prizes in the Mega Millions lottery drawing on Tuesday night were between $2 and $1,000.
Previous wins
This latest lottery draw comes after a lucky winner from Florida came forward to claim their prize of $1 million after months.
The 51-year old winner had bought the ticket for the Mega Millions drawing on July 29th in Jensen Beach at Cumberland Farms.
It was a Quick Pick ticket and the player was able to match all 5 numbers, but did not match the Mega Ball.
A commission of $1,000 will also be paid to the retailer for selling the winning ticket for the Mega Millions lottery draw.
The drawings for the Mega Millions lottery are held twice each week, on Tuesday and Friday, respectively. Players from 45 states, along with the Virgin Islands and the District of Columbia can participate.
