The Irish Lotto draw was held on Saturday, 19th November, 2022, which saw a lucky lotto player scoop up a fantastic prize of €250,000.
The player hailed from Dublin, specifically from the Ringsend area, and has landed the prize, very close to the Christmas holidays.
The winning ticket
The winning ticket was purchased for the Lotto Plus 2 draw on 14th November, Monday, on Ringsend Road, Dublin at Maxol.
The winning numbers that allowed the player to land the great prize in Saturday night’s draw were 01, 02, 08, 18, 31, 36 and 44 was the bonus number.
The winner from the Irish Lotto drawing on Saturday night was advised to keep their ticket safe and sign the back as well.
The Dublin winner was also told to get in touch with the prize claims team of the National Lottery via email, or through phone.
The jackpot in Saturday night’s drawing had been an impressive €5,571,522, but there no winners for the rather impressive prize.
Therefore, the jackpot will now roll over to the next drawing of the Irish lottery, which is now scheduled for Wednesday, November 23rd, 2022 and the jackpot will be around €6 million.
EuroMillions win
The good news is that it seemed to be a rather impressive weekend for lottery players in Dublin because Saturday was not the only night that there were big wins.
The EuroMillions lottery drawing was also held on Friday, November 18th, 2022 and there were a total of 10 players in Ireland that won €50,000 each in the said draw.
It appeared that Christmas came early for these players, two of whom were from Dublin, making it a big weekend for Dubliners.
The special raffle
The ‘Ireland Only Raffle draw’ of the EuroMillions lottery is being conducted as part of the ’12 Draws of Christmas’ and it was the second of the total 12 draws that will be held.
Two of the winners of the special raffle were from Dublin, while two of them hailed from Cork. There was one winner from Tipperary, Kilkenny, Kildare, Galway and Clare each.
All of these players walked away with prizes of €50,000 in the EuroMillions lottery’s drawing on Friday night.
The third draw is now scheduled to take place on November 22nd, 2022, Tuesday and will see ten more players win €50,000 each.
Not only will players have a chance of winning this prize, but they will also get a shot at winning the EuroMillions jackpot.
As far as participating in the special raffle is concerned, any EuroMillions lottery player from Ireland who purchases a ticket for a draw held between November 15th and December 23rd will be entered into the draws automatically.
