The entire month of February saw no winners in the Mega Millions Lottery drawing and the same seems to continue in the month of March.
The latest Mega Millions lottery draw took place on Friday, March 10th, 2023 and it had a jackpot of $203 million, which came with a cash value of $107.1 million.
No jackpot winners
The winning numbers that were drawn in Friday night’s Mega Millions lottery were 09, 20, 59, 60 and 63, while 05 was the Gold Mega Ball and 2X was the Megaplier.
Unfortunately, none of the players were able to match the numbers in the latest Mega Millions draw, which means the jackpot will now roll over and be added to the next drawing’s grand prize.
The next Mega Millions Lottery drawing is now scheduled to take place on Tuesday, March 14th, 2023 and it will now have a jackpot of $229 million, which will come with a cash option of $120.6 million.
Other winners
The latest Mega Millions lottery drawing continued the trend of not just failing to see a grand prize winner, but there were no instant millionaires too.
This means that none of the players were able to hit the Match 5 that would have allowed the players to win a prize of $1 million.
While there may not have been any grand prize winners, or instant millionaires, there were still people who walked away with other prizes.
There were a total of 13 people who were able to hit the Match 4 and Mega Ball, which allowed them to win a prize of $10,000 each.
There were also four people who not only hit the Match 4 and the gold Mega Ball, but also bought the Megaplier, which allowed them to win $20,000 each.
The rest of the prizes in Friday night’s Mega Millions drawing were between $2 and $1,000. There were a total of 712,000 winning tickets sold in the latest drawing at all prize levels.
Other details
There have been instant millionaires in the previous Mega Millions lottery drawings, but the lack of jackpot winners is notable because January had proven to be quite historic.
There had been four jackpot winners in just a few weeks, which included a massive prize of $1.348 billion that was claimed by a lucky player in Maine.
Mega Millions lottery drawings are conducted two times each week, once on Tuesday and next on Friday.
Jackpot winners have the option of claiming their prize via lump sum one-time payment, or go with an annuity.
