Now that the month of January 2021 is over, the Pennsylvania Lottery is revealing the amount claimed by players for the particular month. The PA Lottery has revealed that more than $248 million worth of prizes were given out to the winners of the PA Lottery.
It has been confirmed that the $248 million-plus worth of prizes were won by players that only played the scratched-off games in the month of January 2021.
The PA Lottery has revealed that the highest prizes of $3 million each were won by two different players that were from Chester County. In addition to $3 million worth of prizes, there were eight prizes for $1 million each that were won by players from different counties.
The names of the counties that won $1 million worth of prizes include Westmoreland County, Northumberland County, New Jersey, New York, and Philadelphia.
The lottery operator has congratulated all the winners of the lottery prizes as well as the retailers for selling the prize-winning tickets. The stores that sold the $3 million prize-winning tickets received a $10,000 bonus incentive while the stores that sold $1 million prize-winning tickets received a $5,000 bonus incentive.
The PA Lottery has also revealed the names and addresses of the retailers that sold the lucky tickets to the prize winners.
The name of the first store that sold the $3 million prize-winning ticket is Thorndale Exxon and Tiger Mart. The store is located at 3727 Lincoln hgwy E, Thorndale, Chester County.
The name of the second store that sold the $3 million prize-winning ticket is Fine Wine and Good Spirits. The store is located at 215 Lancaster Avenue, Malvern, Chester County.
The name of the first store that sold the $1 million prize-winning ticket is Wawa, which is located at 3341 Grant Avenue, Philadelphia.
The name of the second store is Eastgate Exxon and Convenience Store that is located at 12 Eastgate Avenue, Monessen, in the Westmoreland County.
The name of the third store is J.R.’s Mini Mart that is located at 904 West Arch Street, Coal Township, Northumberland County.
The name of the fourth store is Commissary Food Market that is located at 5255 Ridge Avenue, Philadelphia.
The name of the fifth store is Kirmani Fresh Market that is located at 2232 Route 115, Brodheadsville, Monroe County
The name of the six-store is Turkey Hill that is located at 2 East Valley Avenue, Elysburg, Northumberland County.
The name of the seventh store is Wawa that is located at 215 West Lancaster Avenue, Wayne, Chester County.
The name of the eighth and the last store is Dandy Mini Mart that is located at 244 Spring Street, Sayre, Bradford County.
