The lottery officials have revealed that the last ticket Shamoun had purchased was for the July 24, 2021 draw. The player had only a single ticket for the particular draw and even with the single ticket, he ended up winning a $1,000,000 prize.

Stephen Shamoun had visited the head office for the Florida Lotto on August 9, 2021, in the Miami District to claim his prize money. The ticket that Shamoun had purchase matched all five of the primary draw numbers but missed out on the Powerball number.

Shamoun had reportedly picked the Quick Pick option for the only Powerball Lottery ticket he had purchased. The Quick Pick option is for the players that do not want to spend time figuring out the numbers they want to choose for the draw. Instead, they let the computer do the work and randomly choose the numbers for them.

When Shamoun visited the lottery head office, he had a very interesting story to share with the officials about choosing the Quick Pick option. The player informed the officials that he had been choosing the numbers manually for each Powerball Lottery draw.

Unfortunately, he was never successful with any of the numbers he picked. He never even won a few hundred dollars playing the Powerball Lottery and he decided that it was going to be it for him.
