The EuroMillions jackpot that had been rolling over for the last couple of draws has finally been won. An anonymous ticket holder from the United Kingdom won the record prize in the draw conducted on Tuesday, July 19th, 2022.
Biggest jackpot winner
The numbers for Tuesday night’s EuroMillions draw were 06, 23, 27, 40 and 41, while 02 and 12 were the Lucky Star numbers. A single ticket was able to match all of the seven numbers, which allowed them to win a whopping £195,707,000. This makes them the biggest National Lottery winners of all time.
The lucky winner will be able to purchase a townhouse in the Mayfair area in London, with a cinema room, plunge pool, fully-equipped chef’s kitchen and a steam room, the Southampton Football Club, 23 Pisces-VI submarines, or 11 Boeing 747 jets. It also makes the winner richer than Adele, who is valued at £150 million.

According to Camelot, the lucky winner has not yet come forward to claim their big prize. The senior winners’ adviser, Andy Carter said that the night was definitely an amazing one for the lucky ticket holder, as they had managed to win the biggest prize in the history of the EuroMillions draw.
He said that this win made the winner the fourth one to claim the jackpot in the EuroMillions lottery this year. Plus, they have also become the 15th winner from the UK to have won a jackpot of more than £100 million. He also urged the lottery players to check their tickets to see if they were the ones who had landed the prize.

The draw for the EuroMillions lottery is held two times a week, on Tuesday and Friday, and is played in 13 countries in Europe. The previous biggest EuroMillions lottery jackpot was worth £184 million that had been won in May by a couple from Gloucestershire, Joe and Jess Thwaite. After the record-breaking win, the couple had immediately begun to look for a new house.
Different people who have won the EuroMillions jackpot over the years have spent it on various things like dogs, holidays abroad, cars, houses and even Louis Vuitton bags. For instance, 17 year old Jane Restorick had won the prize and purchased a Louis Vuitton handbag and a Chihuahua with her winnings.
