The clock is ticking for a mystery EuroMillions winner who has yet to come forward from the Borough of Tewkesbury to claim their prize.
The lucky winner landed the EuroMillions UK Millionaire Maker prize worth £1 million, but now only has a month left to claim it.
The ticket
The final search for finding the owner of the lucky ticket is ongoing. The EuroMillions draw in question had been conducted on September 9th, 2022 and the player had won £1,000,000.
The winning ticket had been purchased in the Borough of Tewkesbury and the prize’s Millionaire Maker code had been TDJL 68325.
The last date for the lucky winner to come forward and claim their prize is March 8th, 2023.
National Lottery
The senior winners’ adviser at the National Lottery, Andy Carter said that time was running out for the £1 million prize winner.
He said that they were still hoping they would come forward at the last minute to claim their winnings. He added that they were urging everyone to take a look at their old tickets once more.
Carter said that the easiest way to check their tickets was via the National Lottery App, or they could just search for their EuroMillions ticket.
He stated that it was a life changing prize and could definitely help the winner in making their dreams come true.
He also asserted that players can purchase as well as check their tickets online through the National Lottery App, or they can do so via the website.
Of course, they also have the option of doing it the traditional way i.e. via retail. The only difference is that playing online through the website or app means that the ticket is automatically checked.
If the player wins a prize, they receive a notification. If someone has the winning ticket, they can get in touch with the National Lottery via email, or phone.
Other details
If the Tewksbury winner does not come forward to claim their prize before the deadline for doing so, then the winning amount, along with all the interest generated on it, will be used for helping the projects that are funded by the National Lottery throughout the United Kingdom.
In all the draws of National Lottery, players have about one hundred eighty days from the date of the draw to come forward to claim their funds in case they have a winning ticket.
