There are just two weeks remaining for a lotto player based in Dublin to realize that they are the winner of a prize in the Irish Lotto worth €250,000 before it is taken away from them.
The rules
According to the rules of the Irish Lotto, if the winner does not come forward for claiming their prize within 90 days after the day of the draw, then it will become null and void.
Therefore, the National Lottery has urged all players of the Lotto Plus 2 draw in Dublin city’s Ringsend area to check their tickets to see if they are the one who landed the big prize.
The prize was won in the Lotto Plus 2 draw that was conducted on November 19th, 2022 and the winner had bought the ticket on Monday, November 14th, 2022.
It had been a Normal Play ticket that was purchased from the Maxol service station located on Ringsend Road, Dublin.
The details
The deadline for claiming the prize will come to an end on Monday, February 20th, which means there are just two weeks remaining for the winner to get their hands on their winnings.
The winning numbers for the Lotto Plus 2 draw held on November 19th, 2022, Saturday were 01, 02, 08, 18, 31 and 36 and 44 was the bonus number.
A spokesperson for the National Lottery talked about the upcoming deadline and said that since it was approaching so quickly, they were looking forward to hearing from the Dublin winner as quickly as possible.
The spokesperson said that they were appealing to all lotto players who had bought their tickets for the draw on Saturday, 19th November and purchased their ticket from the Maxol service station.
They said that there was a player in Ringsend, Dublin who had a ticket worth €250,000 and had not been claimed as yet.
It was a Normal Play ticket, which means that the lotto player picked the numbers on their own and they would have until February 20th to claim their prize.
The National Lottery asked the winner to get in touch with their prize claims team via email or phone to start their claim process as soon as possible.
