The Florida Lottery revealed that the name of the player is Clarence Johnson who is 53-years-old and is a resident of Winter Park (FL). After winning the prize, the player dropped the winning ticket as proof at the nearest drop box for the relevant lottery. The dropbox where the winner dropped the ticket as proof of the win is located at Orlando Office.

The winner decided to go with the option of one-time lump sum prize money of $790,000 after federal and state tax deductions.
