Brian revealed he had not added the Power Play option to his ticket for the January 24 draw. Otherwise, he would have doubled his prize money to $2,000,000, which is the maximum (tier-2) prize money the US Powerball offers.

Brian Diran revealed he had purchased his $1,000,000 prize-winning ticket from Metro Mart NY. The particular store is located at 2655 Richmond Avenue.
