Bruce had reportedly purchased his tier-2 prize-winning ticket from Winn-Dixie. The particular store is located at 3318 Canoe Creek Road, Saint Cloud. The store is to receive a bonus commission of $2,000 for selling the ticket. Bruce reportedly decided to receive his prize money in a lump sum, eventually receiving $1,000,000.

There were a total of 13 winners of the tier-3 ($2,500 each) prize money from the draw. There were a total of 39 winners of the tier-4 ($500) prize money from the draw. There were a total of 520 winners of the tier-5 ($100) prize money from the draw.

Then there were 1,847 winners of the tier-6 ($25 each) prize money from the draw. A total of 7,665 players won the tier-7 ($10) prize money from the draw.
