There is something called lucky and then there is being really lucky and that’s exactly what a Washington County, Missouri couple turned out to be. This is because the couple won a massive lottery prize for the second time. A few years ago, the couple had already won a lottery prize of $250,000 and they decided to give their luck a try once more while they were grocery shopping in Potosi at the Short Stop Convenience Shop. 

They bought a Big Riches scratch-off ticket for $30 and discovered that they had won the prize once more, only it was bigger than before at a whopping $3 million. Speaking to the Missouri Lottery officials, one of the winners said that they just had a feeling. The couple were already aware that they had won a prize before they left the store. One of them said that they had begun to scratch the ticket and saw that they had won $100,000. They scratched all and discovered that they were all $100,000. 

The winning lottery ticket was sold to the couple by the cashier named Abi Schrum, who said that they had tears of joy everywhere. Schrum also asked about the odds of winning twice in a single lifetime and the fact is that these odds are not that good. The wife said that it was God’s blessing. After their second lottery win, the couple allowed the lottery officials to take their photo, but preferred to keep their names hidden. According to Missouri law, releasing the name of lottery winners is a crime without their permission.
