After the lottery drawing on Tuesday night, the Mega Millions jackpot has increased because the draw did not have a winner for the grand prize worth $94 million. On November 26th, Friday, the winning numbers for the Mega Millions draw were 7, 27, 37, 42, 9 and a gold Mega Ball of 2. 2X was the Megaplier.
As the Friday night drawing had no grand prize winner, which had a jackpot of $94 million and a $67.5 million cash option, the jackpot remains unclaimed. However, there was one player that matched to become an instant millionaire after the recent lottery drawing. Hailing from Michigan, a player won an impressive $2 million when they hit the Match 5 along with the 2X multiplier.
The next Mega Millions Jackpot is scheduled for Tuesday, November 30th and the lottery draw will be worth approximately $102 million and will have a cash option of $73.3 million. While there was only one instant millionaire in the night’s draw, there were a number of other smaller prizes given out. There were a total of nine players that managed to land $10,000 each, thanks to the Match 4 with gold Mega Ball winners.
There were only three players who successfully matched the four numbers with the 2X Megaplier and the gold Mega Ball, which helped them with $20,000 each. The other wins from the Mega Millions lottery on Friday night saw prizes between $2 and $1,000 being given out.
Lottery winners are given the option of getting their winnings as an annuity, or as a one-time lump sum payment. Winners who go with the former option get one immediate payment and then go onto receiving 29 annual payments, which increase every year by 5%.
