The Georgia Lottery has recently revealed that a man from Brunswick was lucky enough to win a prize money of $50,000. The player ‘Pablo Martell’ won the $50,000 prize money from the Powerball drawing. The draw for the particular prize of $50,000 from the Powerball was held on November 24, 2020.

The Georgia Lottery also shared the information of the store where the lucky ticket was purchased from. The store that sold the $50,000 prize-winning ticket was sold from Friendly Express. The Friendly Express store is located at 2501 Perry Lane Road (GA).

The winner ‘Pablo Martell’ stated that for the first time in his life, he is thankful that he fell ill. The player told Georgia Lottery that he had caught a cold and had to go see a doctor. While he was on his way back from the clinic after purchasing the prescription, he decided to make a stop at the store.

Pablo Martell stated that it came to his mind that he should buy a lottery ticket for the Powerball draw. So he went to the Friendly Express store and bought one ticket.

He stated that although he was feeling really bad and felt like doing nothing, still he wanted to buy the ticket. He stated that the main reason he was compelled to buy the ticket was due to the high price it was offering.

Pablo Martell stated that after purchasing the ticket, he made his way back home and could not get up from his bed for a few days. He said that he was in the process of recovering from his illness so he completely forgot to check the ticket.

The winner stated that he could not check the ticket for a while due to his ailment and did not know that he had won a $50,000 prize.

He stated that after he got better and went back to the office, he remembered that he had purchased a ticket. So he decided to check the numbers there to see if he had won something or not. The winner stated that at first, he could not believe his eyes what he was seeing.

He stated that he was completely taken by surprise that he had actually won the top prize of $50,000 from the Powerball Lottery. He even asked one of his colleagues to check the number for him and confirm if he was actually right.

Pablo Martell is a 61-year-old man who is currently working as a human resources assistant in a private company. The winner told the lottery team what he plans to do with the prize money that he has won.

He stated that he plans to pay a vacation to Aruba with his wife.
