The Florida Lottery is back with huge prize wins that have been claimed by two lucky players from Florida. The running year is turning out to be full of fortunes and blessings for the lottery players from Florida.
Not sure about others but these two winners are definitely going to have the best year of their lives. They will get to fulfill their desires and spend the entire year with joy and being on vacations if they want.
The name of the first player is Robert Beasley who is a 61-year-old man from Crystal River. The name of the other player is Roger Wood who is 50-year-old and is a resident of Jacksonville.
Both the players were the luckiest when both of their tickets ended up winning the $1 million each. The players had opted to play the “200X The Cash” scratch-off game and secured their prize claims through the drop boxes.
For Robert, he secured his prize-winning ticket at the Gainesville district office and for Roger, it was the Jacksonville district office.
As a result of winning the prizes, both players had the option of either going with a one-time lump sum or for the annuity plan. Both the players decided to go for the one-time lump sum amount of $1 million each. After the federal and state tax deductions, both players managed to bag a total of $890,000 each.
The Florida Lottery has also revealed the names and addresses of the stores where the players had purchased the tickets from.
Robert had purchased the prize-winning scratch-off ticket from Racetrac which is located at 3861 South Suncoast Boulevard (Homosassa).
On the other hand, Roger had purchased his prize-winning scratch-off ticket from Publix, which is located at 7628-24 103rd Street (Jacksonville).
Luckily for both the stores, they will be receiving a $2,000 bonus commission each for selling the prize-winning tickets.
The 200X The Cash game was launched back in September of 2020 and each ticket for the lottery costs a minimum of $20. The 200X The Cash game offers ten top prizes that are worth $5 million each and the overall odds of winning a prize are 1-in-2.96.
The scratch-off lottery games play a huge and integral role in the portfolio of the Florida Lottery. Every fiscal year, the Florida Lottery manages to generate more than $1 billion only through the scratch-off games. The $1 billion money generated through the lottery games goes towards the Educational Enhancement Trust Fund (EETF).
So far, the Florida Lottery has paid a total of $72.5 billion worth of prizes to the lottery players since 1988. The Florida Lottery also boasts of making more than 3,000 people millionaires since its launch.
