The Canada Lotto 6/49 draw was conducted on Wednesday, December 28th, 2022, which saw two winning tickets that were sold in the Greater Toronto Area win a prize of $2.5 million each.

The winning numbers that were drawn in Wednesday night’s Lotto 6/49 draw were 02, 10, 16, 17, 24 and 26.
The two tickets were able to match all the six numbers to win the Classic Draw jackpot worth $2.5 million apiece.
One of the winning tickets was sold in Toronto and the other one was sold in Mississauga. According to the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG), there was also another winning ticket sold in Toronto.
This one was an Encore prize-winning ticket that was worth $100,000.
Other details
All Lotto 6/49 winners should note that they have to claim their prizes within one year from the date of the draw, or else they will expire and they will miss the opportunity of winning the prize.
The next Lotto 6/49 draw in Canada will now be conducted on Saturday, December 31st and it has a fixed $5 million Classic Draw, while the Gold Ball Draw is worth $44 million.
