One instant millionaire in Friday night’s draw bought their Mega Millions ticket in Arkansas. The other winner was from New York who bought the ticket in Elba from the Crosby’s store located on South Main Street.

20 other players walked away with a prize of $10,000 each, as they managed to hit the Match 4 as well as the gold Mega Ball. There were also 5 lucky Mega Millions’ players who matched four numbers and the Mega Ball and also opted for the Megaplier. This helped them triple their prize to $30,000 each.

As for the other prizes for the night, they were between the range of $2 and $1,500.

Jackpot rolls over

The next drawing of the Mega Millions lottery is scheduled for Tuesday, July 12th. Since there was no winner for Friday night’s draw, the one on Tuesday now has a jackpot worth $440 million. The prize also comes with a cash option of $230.9 million.

Jackpot winners have the option of getting their winnings as an annuity, or as a lump sum payment. If you go with the former, you get one payment immediately and then 29 annual payments that go up by 5%.
