The Mega Millions Lottery draw was conducted on Tuesday, November 8th, 2022 and it had a jackpot of about $154 million and came with a cash option of $74.2 million.
Jackpot grows
The winning numbers that were drawn in Tuesday night’s Mega Millions Lottery draw were 05, 13, 29, 38 and 59, while 23 was the gold Mega Ball and 4X was the Megaplier.
Unfortunately, there were no players who were able to match the required numbers to take home the impressive jackpot, which means it is now going to roll over.
The next drawing of the Mega Millions Lottery is scheduled to take place on Friday, November 11th, 2022 and it will now have a grand prize of $189 million.
Instant millionaires
Even though there were no winners of the jackpot in Tuesday night’s Mega Millions lottery draw, there were four players who did become instant millionaires.
There were three players who managed to hit the Match 5 and won a prize of $1 million each and they were from New York, Maryland and Georgia.
Meanwhile, the fourth instant millionaire was from Illinois and not only did they hit the Match 5, but had also opted for the Megaplier. Therefore, their prize on Tuesday night was a whopping $4 million.
Other winners
Apart from the overnight millionaires, there were other players who also won smaller monetary prizes in Tuesday night’s drawing of the Mega Millions Lottery.
There were a total of 27 players who were able to hit the Match 4 and also the gold Mega Ball, which meant that they were able to land a prize of $10,000 each.
However, none of these players had opted to buy the Megaplier with their tickets, or else they would have been able to increase their prize to $40,000 each.
The other winnings on Tuesday night in the Mega Millions lottery draw were between $2 and $2,000.
Older winner
The latest jackpot in the Mega Millions lottery comes after a player in Florida came forward to claim their prize of $1 million.
The winning ticket had been bought for the Mega Millions draw that was conducted on July 26th. The man had purchased the ticket in Dania Beach at an Exxon gas station.
The business will also be given a commission of about $1,000 because they sold the winning ticket.
The Mega Millions lottery can be played in 45 states, US Virgin Islands and District of Columbia two times a week, on Tuesday and Friday.
In other news, the Powerball lottery draw was also held on Tuesday instead of Monday night and its massive $2.04 billion jackpot was won by a player in California.
