The Mega Millions Lottery’s latest draw was conducted on Tuesday, January 31st, 2023 and it had a jackpot of $31 million that came with a cash option of $16.5 million.
Jackpot landed
The winning numbers that were chosen in the Mega Millions drawing on Tuesday night were 07, 09, 18, 29, 39 and 13 was the Mega Ball, while 4X was the Megaplier.
The good news is that the drawing on Tuesday night saw a grand prize winner in the Mega Millions Lottery.
A player from Massachusetts was able to match all the six numbers to win the jackpot of $31 million in Tuesday night’s drawing.
Since the jackpot has been claimed, it means that the grand prize for the next Mega Millions drawing will not reset to $20 million that will come with a cash value of $10.6 million.
The next Mega Millions Lottery drawing is scheduled to be held on Friday, February 3rd, 2023.
Other prizes
While there was a lucky player who managed to walk away with the grand prize in Tuesday night’s Mega Millions drawing, it was not the win in the draw.
There was another player who landed a notable prize in the drawing on Tuesday night who belonged to New Jersey. The player was able to hit the Match 5, which allowed them to win $1 million.
But, the player had also bought the Megaplier option with their ticket, which meant that they were able to increase their winnings to a whopping $4 million.
Apart from that, there were also 24 more players who were able to hit the Match 4 and the gold Mega Ball in the Mega Millions drawing on Tuesday night, which allowed them to win $10,000 each.
But, there were also five players who not only hit the Match 4 and the gold Mega Ball, but also purchased the Megaplier option, which meant that their prizes increased to $40,000 each.
The rest of the winnings in Tuesday night’s Mega Millions lottery drawing were between $2 and $2,000.

The Mega Millions lottery has been taking place for 21 years, but for the first time in the history of the game, a total of four jackpots have been won in a single month.
The latest jackpot win is the fifth time that a player from Massachusetts has won the grand prize in the Mega Millions lottery.
The first Mega Millions jackpot for this year had been won in the drawing conducted on January 13th, when the $1.348 billion grand prize was scooped up by a player from Maine.
The jackpot has been claimed three more times since then. The drawings are conducted twice each week, every Tuesday and Friday and the odds of winning are 1 in 302.5 million.
