The Mega Millions lottery draw was held on Tuesday, October 25th, 2022 and had a jackpot of $45 million that had a cash value of $21.8 million.
Jackpot grows
The winning numbers that were drawn in the Mega Millions lottery draw on Tuesday night were 21, 30, 35, 45 and 66, while 21 was the Mega Ball and 3X was the Megaplier.
Unfortunately, there were no players who were able to match the correct numbers needed to win the jackpot, which means that it will now roll over and become part of the next draw.
The upcoming draw of the Mega Millions lottery is now scheduled to take place on Friday, October 28th, 2022 and it will have a jackpot of $64 million. This will have a cash option of $31 million.
The winners
Not only were there no winners for the grand prize in Tuesday night’s Mega Millions lottery draw, but there were also no instant millionaires.
No one managed to hit the Match 5 on Tuesday night that would have seen them win the $1 million prize in the draw.
Had anyone done so and also chosen to play the Megaplier, they would have succeeded in tripling their prize to $3 million.
There were still plenty of smaller monetary prizes that were won in Tuesday night’s draw. There were a total of 16 players who were able to hit the Match 4 as well as the Mega Ball.
This allowed the players to win a prize of $10,000 each. In addition, there were also two players who managed to hit the Match 4, the Mega Ball and also chose to play the Megaplier.
This meant that they were able to win $30,000 each instead of $10,000. The other prizes that were won in Tuesday night’s Mega Millions lottery drawing were between $2 and $1,500.
Other details
The latest Mega Millions lottery comes after two players managed to hit the jackpot in the draw conducted on October 14th. The players from Florida and California will now split a prize of $494 million that has a cash option of $247.9 million.
The winners of the Mega Millions jackpot have the option of getting their grand prize as a lump sum, or they can also opt for annuity.
