The Powerball lottery draw was conducted on Saturday, September 10th and had a jackpot of $186 million, which came with a cash option of $102.6 million.
Jackpot rolls over
However, it turns out that there was no winner for the big prize on Saturday night, which means that the jackpot would now roll over.
The winning number for Saturday night’s draw were 38, 42, 56, 68 and 69, whole 04 was the Powerball number and 2X was the Power Play.
The next drawing of the Powerball lottery is now scheduled for Monday, September 12th and the jackpot for this draw has reached a whopping $193 million. It has a cash value of about $105.3 million.
The drawings for the Powerball lottery take place on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday.
Draw winners
Even though there were no winners for the grand prize in Saturday night’s draw, there were other prizes that were given out.
One lucky player from Ohio was able to hit the Match 5 plus the Power Play, which allowed them to win a prize of $2 million.
Another player from Wisconsin also hit the Match 5, but since they did not go with the Power Play, they were not able to land more than $1 million.
The last time the Powerball jackpot was won was in the draw conducted on August 3rd. The jackpot for the draw had been around $206.9 million and a player from Pennsylvania landed the big prize.
Before that, the Powerball jackpot had been won on June 29th which was around $366.7 million and a player from Vermont was able to claim it.
There has not been a jackpot winner for the Mega Millions lottery for the last few draws either. Therefore, its jackpot has also been growing.
The latest jackpot for the Mega Millions lottery has climbed to $231 million and it comes with a cash value of $125.8 million.
The next Mega Millions draw is scheduled for Tuesday, September 13th, a day after the Powerball draw.
