The Powerball Lottery draw that took place on Monday, October 31st, 2022, had a jackpot of a massive $1 billion and it had a cash value of $497.3 million.
Jackpot rises

This will come with a cash option of $596.7 million and it would be the second-largest jackpot in the history of the Powerball lottery, if won.
The largest jackpot in the Powerball history was $1.586 billion that had been won back in 2016 on the draw held on January 13th and it was split between winners hailing from three different states.
Instant millionaires
Even though the Powerball lottery draw on Monday night did not see any grand prize winners, there were a number of ticketholders who managed to become millionaires overnight.
There were 13 people who became instant millionaires in Monday night’s Powerball lottery draw. Two players belong to California, one from Indiana, two from Michigan, two from Texas, two from Ohio and one from Florida.
All of these players were able to match the first five numbers in Monday night’s draw, which allowed them to win $1 million each.
There were also ticketholders from Oklahoma, New York and Florida, who not only managed to match the first five numbers, but also opted for the Power Play, which meant that they won $3 million each.

Other than the instant millionaires, there was also an impressive number of 134 players who were able to hit the Match 4 and the Powerball number.
This allowed each of these players to win $50,000. In addition, there were 23 players who not only hit the Match 4 and the Powerball, but also opted for the Power Play Purchase.
