While there may not have been any winners for the huge jackpot in Wednesday night’s Powerball lottery drawing, there were players who did manage to become millionaires overnight.
A total of 16 players in the Powerball draw could hit the Match 5, which let these players win a prize of $1 million each.
In addition, 3 lucky players not only won the Match 5, but also opted to go for the option of Power Play with their ticket. This allowed them to double their prize to $2 million each.
The three lucky players hailed from New Jersey, Montana and Arkansas.
Other prizes
Meanwhile, there were also 189 players who were lucky enough to hit the Match 4 as well as the number of Powerball, which allowed them to win $50,000 each.
