The Powerball lottery draw was scheduled for Wednesday, October 5th and it had a huge lottery jackpot worth $354.7 million that came with a cash option of $186.3 million.
No winners for the jackpot
The winning numbers for Wednesday night’s Powerball lottery draw were 26, 30, 33, 37 and 62, while 6 was the Powerball number and 2X was the Power Play.
However, there were no winners for the jackpot on Wednesday night, which means that the big prize will now roll over for the next draw.
The next Powerball draw is scheduled to take place on Saturday, October 8th and it will have a whopping jackpot of around $378 million and it has a cash value of $198.7 million.
There has not been a winner for the grand prize in the Powerball lottery since the beginning of August when the $206.9 million jackpot had been claimed by a player in Pennsylvania.
Other prizes
While there may not have been a winner for the grand prize in Wednesday night’s Powerball lottery draw, there were other winners.
However, there was no player who was able to become a millionaire overnight, which they would have done if they had hit the Match 5. The prize would have been around $1 million.
Had they opted for the Power Play option, they would have doubled their prize to $2 million. But, there were no instant millionaires on Wednesday night.
There were smaller monetary prizes that were won in the Powerball draw on Wednesday night. A total of fourteen players were able to hit the Match 4 and the Powerball number.
This meant that they were able to land a prize of $50,000 each. There were also three players who hit the Match 4, the Powerball number and the Power Play option, so they doubled their prize to $100,000.
The rest of the prizes on Wednesday night were between $4 and $200. There were a total of 518,951 players who were able to take home prizes from the Powerball draw on Wednesday.
Ticket to expire
The latest Powerball lottery draw comes when a ticket worth $50,000 is going to expire on October 17th if it is not claimed.
The ticket had been purchased for the Powerball lottery draw on April 18th in Lake Station at the Pilot Flying J Travel Center.
The winning numbers for the said draw had been 08, 33, 55, 59 and 62, with 18 being the Powerball number and the lucky winner is from Indiana.
However, they have not yet come forward to claim the prize and the expiry date is now getting closer. Powerball lottery draws are conducted three days a week, every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday.
