The Powerball lottery draw was conducted on Wednesday, October 19th, 2022 and had a jackpot worth $515.5 million that came with a cash option of $260.1 million.
No jackpot winners
The numbers that were drawn on Wednesday night in the Powerball lottery draw were 06, 08, 15, 27 and 42, while 10 was the red Powerball number and 3X was the Power Play.
Unfortunately, there were no winners for the massive jackpot on Wednesday night, which means that it will now roll over.
Thus, the next drawing of the Powerball lottery, which is scheduled for Saturday, October 22nd, 2022 will now see a jackpot of about $550 million that will come with a cash value of $277.5 million.
Other winners
Even though there were not any winners for the grand prize in Wednesday night’s draw of the Powerball lottery, there were three people who became instant millionaires.
One ticket holder in New Jersey and one in Michigan were able to hit the Match 5, which allowed them to win a prize of $1 million each.
The third player, on the other hand, belonged to the Garden State and also hit the Match 5, but since they had opted for the Power Play option, they were able to walk away with $3 million instead of $1 million.
There were more players who managed to bag some smaller monetary prizes in Wednesday night’s drawing, including some six-figure wins.
There were a total of 22 lucky players who were able to hit the Match 4 and also the Powerball number, which allowed them to snag prizes of $50,000 each.
But, there were six players who not only managed to hit the Match 4 and the Powerball number, but also opted for the Power Play option.
This allowed them to win a prize of $150,000 each. The other winnings on Wednesday night were between $4 and $300.
The Powerball draw on Wednesday saw 965,385 winning tickets sold, which resulted in prizes of about $12.3 million being paid out.

The last time the Powerball lottery jackpot had been won was back on August 3rd when it had reached $206.9 million. A player in Pennsylvania had taken home the grand prize.
